In a nutshell
My reading preferences vary widely. I can jump from Victor Hugo (Les Miserables remains my favorite novel) to Robert B. Parker to Dean Koontz. As a writer, my tastes narrow a bit. I’m drawn time and again to create stories that combine suspense with a sense of wonder. Whether that be defined as paranormal, supernatural, urban fantasy or any other term, my muse responds best when some element of the fantastic is at work. In theory, that same muse could probably be coerced into writing a Harlequin Romance so long as somebody spontaneously combusted along the way.
